Today was a quiet day in terms of Caley's medical care -- other than increasing her food a little bit, nothing changed. She had a very stable day, got two visits (and holds) from Mommy, and played with Nurse Kodi making footprints and taking pictures, among other things.
And today also was Caley's first baby shower! While most babies attend their showers while still in their mommy's belly, Caley made her appearance a little too early for that. So we took lots of baby pictures to share with everyone at her shower. The shower was a wonderful time, with lots of good food and good people. We feel so fortunate and thankful for all of the supportive and generous friends and family that we have!
Tomorrow is Caley's first eye exam, which we understand is not a particularly pleasant experience. We plan to not observe, but are praying it goes well. She certainly acts like she can see us during her "quiet alert" periods -- we'll see what the doctors say.
