Apparently even preemies can have grumpy days. After we bragged yesterday about how well Caley does when we hold her, today she didn't seem to want to be held. So Kirk held her for about an hour, and that was it.
Only two small changes today: Caley is up to 5.5 ml of milk per hour, and her oxygen flow was reduced from 2L to 1.5L. We're hoping that the reduced oxygen flow will help with Caley's gassy belly.
Caley is having more regular periods of alertness, usually after a diaper change. And late at night...it appears that she might be a night owl like Mommy. We enjoy watching her look around with eyes wide open, even though we know she can't see much other than light and shadows right now. Maybe one day she'll let us get a decent picture with her eyes open!
